Where to Find So Good A TiO2 Supplier

Titanium Dioxide is short for TiO2. It is an odorless, highly cohesive and adhesive white powder containing agglomerated lumps and tends to coat steel surfaces. Titanium dioxide is a naturally-occurring substance resulting from the oxidation of the element titanium. It is moderately abrasive, non-free-flowing, and tends to pack, cake and smear.TiO2 is incompatible with strong oxidizers and strong acids.

Titanium Dioxide is highly refractory in nature, often used in cosmetics to reflect light away from the skin, or in sun block for the same purpose. TiO2 is one of the whitest materials known, and is used in many industries to provide whiteness and opacity to products such as paints, plastics, papers, inks, foods, and cosmetics.Titanium dioxide is also used in building and construction materials.Titanium Dioxide Powder is a common additive in many food, personal care, and other consumer products. It is sometimes used as a whitener and sometimes as an anti-caking agent (to prevent the product from clumping).Other industries use its refractory nature in protective coatings for automobile and marine parts, and in optical mirrors.

Honghui Titanium Dioxide Chemical Plant Co.,Ltd. is a factory based professional supplier of titanium dioxide series with years of exportation experience. We are fully knowledgeable of the product property and can handle the product delivery skillfully and smoothly.

Exploring on Titanium Dioxide

Titanium Dioxide is also called Titania or Titanium (IV) Oxide, which is a natural oxide that occurs within the element titanium. It is one of the top fifty chemicals produced worldwide. It is a white, opaque and naturally- occurring mineral found in two main forms: rutile and anatase. Both forms contain pure titanium dioxide that is bound to impurities. Titanium dioxide is chemically processed to remove these impurities, leaving the pure, white pigment available for use.

Titanium Dioxide has a variety of uses, as it is odorless and absorbent. This mineral can be found in many products, ranging from paint to food to cosmetics. In the pharmaceutical industry, titanium dioxide is used in most sunscreens to block UVA and UVB rays, similar to zinc oxide. It is also commonly used as pigment for pharmaceutical products such as gelatin capsules, tablet coatings and syrups. In the cosmetics industry, it is used in toothpaste, lipsticks, creams, ointments and powders. It can be used as an opacifier to make pigments opaque. As a pigment, titanium dioxide is used to enhance the white color of certain foods, such as dairy products and candy. It also lends brightness to toothpaste and some medications. However, it is also used as a food additive and flavor enhancer in a variety of non-white foods, including dried vegetables, nuts, seeds, soups, and mustard, as well as beer and wine.

Since this substance reflects light so well, it is ideal for use as a protective coating for many products, such as automobile parts and optical mirrors. It is also incorporated into paint. In addition, Titanium Dioxide is found in a number of construction and building materials. The plastic industry also makes use of it as a coating to absorb UV light and render increased durability.

Essential Elements We Need-Water Soluble Lanolin

Lanolin is a byproduct of wool-gathering and refining, it is fairly easily obtained without having to harm the animal (unless the sheep has a phobia about being shaved) and is a renewable resource. This has made lanolin a popular ingredient in skin creams and hair products for many centuries.

Water Soluble Lanolin has received some bad press, resulting from a very small study among allergy patients, indicating that it may cause allergic reaction in a small percentage of users. However, when one delves deeper into the literature, it becomes apparent that this has not been consistently borne out in other studies.

Lanolin is a mixture of fatty acids and wax esters, diesters and hydroxy esters of high molecular weight, as well as fatty alcohols. In its natural state, lanolin contains about 25-30% water, by weight. When applied to skin or hair, it is very effective at helping retain moisture. It forms very stable water-in-oil emulsions and can be used as an emulsion stabilizer and dispersing agent in creamy formulas. It can also be chemically modified to enhance its ability at stabilizing emulsions.Lanolin is considered by many to be too thick and greasy to be used in very high concentrations on hair, as it would weigh down the curls. However, some users who have very fine, dry and extremely curly hair have reported it to be very beneficial to their hair.

What Is Lanolin Alcohol

Lanolin alcohol consists of a refined mixture of high molecular weight (MW) alcohols (the mean MW is 370). It is lanolin's primary derivative. Lanolin alcohols are produced from only the highest-grade wool grease, to meet the numerous pharmacopoeias' strict requirements. Lanolin alcohols are the most powerful surface-active natural components of wool wax products.

When blended with cetearyl alcohol as an additional stabiliser, and mineral oil or petrolatum to change consistency, lanolin alcohol acts as a functional component in so-called absorption bases.Because lanolin alcohol's emulsifying properties are stable in a wide pH range, it can be used in acidic and alkaline w/o emulsions, such as hair bleaching agents.Another important property is lanolin alcohol's ability to help the wound-healing process. As a result, it has numerous applications in medical and pharmaceutical products. By applying it to human skin as a cream or ointment, this moisture is distributed into the intercellular space of the stratum corneum, the outermost skin layer. The emollient care effects of lanolin and its derivatives are harnessed in a wide range of skin creams, ointments and sunscreen lotions.

Yixin Chemical Co.,Ltd specializes in the production and research on lanolin and lanolin derivatives series products, including lanolin cosmetic grade, lanolin pharmaceutical grade, lanolin fatty acid , lanolin alcohol, liquid lanolin, solid lanolin and so and cholesterol. As a market leader in lanolin production, we offer grades of the highest quality and is an expert in its field.

Something You Must Know About Liquid Silicone Rubber

Liquid silicone rubber is a high purity platinum cured silicone with low compression set, great stability and ability to resist extreme temperatures of heat and cold ideally suitable for production of parts, where high quality is a must. Due to the thermosetting nature of the material, liquid silicone injection molding requires special treatment, such as intensive distributive mixing, while maintaining the material at a low temperature before it is pushed into the heated cavity and vulcanized.

Chemically, silicone rubber is a family of thermoset elastomers that have a backbone of alternating silicon and oxygen atoms and methyl or vinyl side groups. Silicone rubbers constitute about 30% of the silicone family, making them the largest group of that family. Silicone rubbers maintain their mechanical properties over a wide range of temperatures and the presence of methyl-groups in silicone rubbers makes these materials extremely hydrophobic.

Liquid Silicone Rubber molding has thousands of applications across a variety of industries, including medical, automotive, infant care, general industrial markets, aerospace, electronics and many other specialized industries. While liquid silicone rubber molding works best for short- and long-run part production, customers can employ the process in the final stages of prototyping. The process is also suitable for the evaluation of different material configurations before green lighting a project for full production.

Features Of Water Soluble Silicone Oil

Despite the fact that silicone compounds have been around for over fifty years, the chemistry of these materials remains elusive to the average formulating chemist. This is indeed unfortunate, since the chemistry of silicon atom and resulting silicone compounds is every bit as wide in scope and rich in content as the chemistry of the carbon atom and the resulting surfactant chemistry upon which it is based. Since most silicone compounds are water insoluble, delivery these material in aqueous systems is from emulsions. The use of emulsions in many processes is acceptable, but emulsions complicate other process and are completely ineffective in other processes.

All emulsion products comprise  water typically at least 40%, silicone (typically55%) and the remainder surfactant to make an emulsion. The fact that the silicone is contained in an emulsion by necessity requires that the delivery be from a micelle. Since there is an equilibrium that exists between the silicone on the substrate, like fabric, fiber, metal, rubber, hair or skin, and the silicone in the emulsion, much of the silicone ends up in the wash water. Not only is this very costly and an inefficient use of expensive raw materials, but there are real environmental concerns since the wash water ends up in the sewer. Emulsions are susceptible to freeze thaw instability and if detergents are added the emulsion will split due to shifting on the HLB. These problems notwithstanding, silicone emulsions are used in many industrial applications.

Functions of Ammonium Lauryl Sulfate

Ammonium Lauryl Sulfate is an anionic surfactant. This means it lowers the surface tension of water, making the water spread more easily. Surfactants are also called wetting agents, and are said (somewhat paradoxically) to make water "wetter".  Ammonium Lauryl Sulfate, like any other surfactant, makes a good base for cleansers because of the way it disrupts the hydrogen bonding in water. Hydrogen bonding is the primary contributor to the high surface tension of water. The water molecules around the micelle arrange themselves around the polar heads, but this disrupts their hydrogen bonding with the water surrounding them. The overall effect of having these micelles in an aqueous (water) environment is that the water becomes more able to penetrate things like cloth fibers or hair, and also becomes more readily available to solvate anything coming off the before mentioned substance.

When Ammonium Lauryl Sulfate (ALS) is reacted with ethylene oxide, the result is the larger molecule ammonium laureth sulfate. This larger molecule has the same detergent and surfactant qualities, but is larger, so it does not penetrate the skin and hair as easily. Ammonium Lauryl Sulfate is an ideal surfactant for use in acidic shampoos and other personal care formulations such as hand soaps and bath products. It can also be used in many detergent applications. It has an excellent viscosity response when formulated correctly with alkanolamides and amphoterics, and it generates large quantities of foam. Since it is a high foaming product, it can be used in rug and upholstery shampoos. Ammonium Lauryl Sulfate will give off an ammonia odor when the pH is alkaline.
